The Level of the Spirit

I want to live on the level of Your Spirit, God.
That higher ground, that higher level, that upgrade with You,
Where my emotions react from Your truth,
Where my thoughts and words come from Your thoughts, Your words, Your truth.

This is the level where I see hope instead of hopelessness,
                                          peace instead of fear,
                                          gladness instead of sadness.

It's where I hear Him say, "I am on your side."
                                        "I am with you."
                                        "I am working all things out for your good."

It's seeing the circumstance as He sees it.

It's a choice I have to make so many times throughout the day,
To step up or step down.

There is light when I step up,
Only darkness when I step down.

I am not obligated to step down,
A price has been paid on my behalf allowing me to step up.

Stepping up is part of my destiny,
The key to my inheritance.

It's time for me to step up, and live in this level of my spirit that has been awakened, made alive
     by my Savior!
