Your pursuit of me is not meager, half-hearted, or lacking in energy.
Your pursuit of me is not just an afterthought,or something you will do tomorrow.
No, Your pursuit of me is with power, energy, diligence and consistency.
You don't give up on me when I don't follow or accept your offer,
No, You persist with love and desire,
Pursuing me to the uttermost.
There is no place you will not go to find me,
No condition I am in will meet Your eyes and cause You to reconsider, to decline Your offer.
No, You press on in Your pursuit.
Your pursuit is to rescue, to deliver,
Your pursuit is to pour out Your heart, your longings, your desire for me.
Your love for me continues no matter what the time table...
You continue on
Rejection does not alter Your plan.
You continue on, with jealousy...
For the one You love, the one You died for, the one You intercede for,
The one You planned, purposed, and created,
The one You desire to bring home.
The one You will never stop loving!
It is in the garden that the Lord comes and reveals His love to me. That is where I go to spend time with Him, and have conversation. It is sweet fellowship with the One who created me, knows me completely and who accepts me. As I share these conversations, I pray He will reveal His love to you too!

But God
Oh how I love that phrase, "but God"
It's where I have to stop, look up, and turn my thinking around.
The plans may be made,
The forecast proclaimed,
The news declared,
The verdict given,
The picture grim,
The report revealed,
The hope faded,
But God
That thought, that word spoken, breaks through and changes everything,
Bringing hope, direction, memories of God's faithfulness.
My heart begins to lift and I gaze upon Him,
And as I believe I step in to receive my inheritance, my miracle.
It's where I have to stop, look up, and turn my thinking around.
The plans may be made,
The forecast proclaimed,
The news declared,
The verdict given,
The picture grim,
The report revealed,
The hope faded,
But God

The River
A rich, pure river of life
Flowing with love,
From the sanctuary, the Father's throne,
Flowing into my life.
He invites me to walk, even swim in this river
His pure water, joins with my foul water,
Sweetening my waters with life, with His love.
We flow together,
Him and I.
This river has different depths.
Ankle deep is a choice,
But how can I be satisfied with ankle deep,
When He offers knee deep, even waist deep.
Waist deep waters of pure love flowing from the Father's heart.
He waits for me to enter and receive.
As I enter these waters and walk in this pure love,
Such a revelation of His gift of grace and love overwhelm me.
He begins to teach me His love,
Teach me about His goodness and His desires for me.
A desire for MORE awakens within me as He beckons me to enter deeper.
He invites me to the deeper waters,
Deeper waters where I need to swim.
I hesitate, "I can't swim!" I cry.
"I will take care of you." He whispers.
"To enter these waters you must trust completely,
Trust my goodness, trust who I say I am."
I gaze at the river and see the sparkling light reflecting from the brightness of His glory,
I close my eyes and see His blood-stained face,
His nail-pierced hands, His beaten body,
His love that allowed this invitation to become available to me.
I jump...there is no other option.
How can I reject that love?
How can I let fear, unbelief,or procastination
Keep me from receiving the intensity and desire of this love that screams for attention?
As I swim in this river of pure love,
My eyes and my heart are opened to a revelation of His love that is breathtaking, incomprehensible.
His love for me can no longer be a passing thought,
A truth I remember on occasion,
Just a song that I sing,
A truth that I only hoped was true.
No, His love is a sure reality that surrounds me and possesses me.
It's a truth that changes everything about me.
It changes my thoughts, my desires, my dreams.
It changes my words making them gracious and grateful.
It changes my relationships, how I see others.
It gives me hope in all my situations,
Healing me, making me totally whole.
As we flow and swim together in this river of love,
His love flows through me to so many others on my path,
So they too can behold the magnitude of the love of the Father.
On the banks of the river of this pure love,
Grow all kinds of trees for fruit
For the nourishment and enjoyment of His beloved on the earth.
What an inheritance!

The Embrace
Your arms,
Holding me tight, so tight,
so close,
so strong,
Revealing to me the intensity and desire of Your love.
I can't fall down with Your arms holding me,
I can't fail with You holding me.
And then You step back and you take my hands and gaze into my eyes.
The depth of Your love as you gaze upon me and smile is overwhelming,
earth shattering,
life transforming.
How could I have ever doubted Your love?
How could I have imagined You as stern, hard-hearted, grim?
How could I have thought You were mad at me, annoyed with me, disappointed in me?
Your touch, Your hug, Your gaze, Your smile,
Change me, renew me, making me whole.
Made whole so the overflow of Your love in me overflows to others on my path,
As I embrace them in love
Holding me tight, so tight,
so close,
so strong,
Revealing to me the intensity and desire of Your love.
I can't fall down with Your arms holding me,
I can't fail with You holding me.
And then You step back and you take my hands and gaze into my eyes.

Fatherless
Do you feel fatherless?
In need of provision,
In need of protection,
In need of affirmation, companionship, loving arms, encouraging words,
In need of instruction, of what to do, how to do it, an example to follow,
In need of someone to come along side and help?
Your heavenly Father sees your heart, your cries, your pleas, your desires
And He says, "I will help you. I have been waiting for you to come, waiting for you to ask,
waiting for you to discover that
I am your Daddy,
I am your Helper,
I am your provider, your protector.
I have buckets, no mountains of all that you need stored up for you, my beloved child,
Provision beyong measure,
Strength for each step, protection, guidance, wisdom and so many hugs and kisses.
You are mine, my child, I have been waiting to pour to out all I have for you."
The fatherless find their help in Thee. Psalms10:14

Sitting at His Feet
And Mary,
Seated herself at the feet of Jesus.
She sat there, at His feet, content
Whispering, "Yes, Lord,
I want to breathe You in,
I love Your words, they comfort me, encourage me, they lift my spirit.
They give me a new way to think, a new way to look at life.
Your words speak hope, and bring peace.
Your words are different than any others.
They are words of love,
words of acceptance,
words that speak life."
Mary stayed at Jesus feet.
She wasn't interested in a quick fix, a mend job, or a pat on the back for something checked off her list.
No, she wanted more,
More of His presence, more of His light, More of His truth.
So she listened,
Becoming acquainted with His voice,
Allowing His words to change her, transform her, set her free,
Allowing herself to fall in love...over and over again.
Seated herself at the feet of Jesus.
She sat there, at His feet, content
Whispering, "Yes, Lord,
