I do not want to refuse the waters You have supplied, God,
The waters of Shiloh, a fountain that runs continually to provide and protect.
This fountain is where my Help comes from.
This fountain is not a display of supremacy or grandeur,
But it is a fountain that is steady, always available, never running dry.
On the outside, this fountain appears small, maybe old-fashioned,
But its provision is strong, full and abundant.
Today it provides my peace,
Straight from the throne room of heaven.
Today it provides my joy,
Straight from the blood of Jesus.
Today it provides my strength and courage,
Given from the Father Himself,
Delivered to me on the wings of the angels... just when needed most.
Oh the favor of being Yours, God, and partaking from your provision!!!
It is in the garden that the Lord comes and reveals His love to me. That is where I go to spend time with Him, and have conversation. It is sweet fellowship with the One who created me, knows me completely and who accepts me. As I share these conversations, I pray He will reveal His love to you too!

Thinking of Mother
On this Mother's Day Eve., I remember you,
I miss the preparations of years gone by,
Years of preparing for your special days, as I desired to bless you and show you my love.
I remember some of those preparations: paper tissue flowers, going out in the woods and finding mountain
pinks and planting them for you, bouquets of lilacs, finding the right sweater, blouse, or hanging basket
that I hoped would bless you. I know you remember so many more...
I miss making your Mother's Day card, spilling out my sentiments and gratitude.
I always felt so blessed to have you as my mother,
So honored to have you as my example,
So thankful to be the recipient of your prayers,
So grateful for your love, your sacrifice, your instruction, your faith.
Do they have Mother's Day in heaven?
Do you see me standing up and blessing you, so grateful for the gift that you were to me and still are to me.
The prayers you uttered in my behalf continue to follow me and go before me.
I know you are cheering me on,
Cheering me on to preserve, to continue to run the race with joy and delight,
Cheering me on to continue to pass on the fire of love to my dear children,
just as you did to me.
Happy Mother's Day Mamma,
Just wanted to tell you again how much I love you!

Your Day, Your Moment
Has your day arrived my friend, the day the Lord has planned for your RESCUE?
The day He holds up His mighty arms and declares,
"Not one minute longer can I wait to have you in My arms. This is your day,
your moment of rescue!!"
And then with determination and power He reaches in, breaks those chains, pulls you out, holds you tight.
Rescues you from the enemy's grip, the enemy's chains, his poison, his lies, his evil plans to destroy you.
As He holds you tight, He reveals His heart, the magnitude of His love, washing away the stain, the dirt,
the shame, the guilt.
He looks at you with His eyes of flaming love, and old becomes new.
He puts within you a new heart, allowing your mind to be renewed.
How you sparkle as the jewels of His love for you adorn your new cloths and your crown.
As the Father gazes upon you, the newly rescued one, the one He loves, He sees you wearing the robe
of His Son. That robe of righteousness that was obtained as His Son suffered and died for you.
The Father sees Jesus as He gazes upon you.
"All I have is yours." He exclaims. "Please receive the abundance and goodness that I have planned for you
that I have stored up for you."
O what a happy day, what a happy moment!
Can my heart contain the joy, the peace?
How can I put into words the wonder of being His, the wonder of the rescue?

Come as a Child
My husband took my grandson, Gabriel, up the street to see the horses last night. While he was up there he met Brandon who was riding a two-wheeler. I went up to check on him. When Gabriel turned around and saw me coming, he started running toward me calling, "Grandma, Grandma," and then he proceeded to tell me about his exciting discoveries and and this recent adventure.
When he called my name so enthusiastically desiring to share his stories with me, my hear felt such joy.
Unashamed and without reservation of what anybody around him thought, he ran to me calling out my name, spilling the delight he was experiencing.
I had to think how it must bless my Father, my Daddy when I call out His name with joy, delight, and joyfully run to him thanking him for my blessing, my discovery. He loves when I unreservedly tell Him about my day, my pain, the hurt, the fear, the victory. How He loves to hear my voice. How He loves to hear me call His name. How He loves when I know He is there, all the time to fellowship with, communicate with.
How He loves when I come to him as a child and see him as my loving Daddy!
